Our Adoption Costs!


Wondering how much it costs to adopt from Brock's country? Here is the rundown. I will highlight
 what we have paid as we get it paid! Travel fees are approximate and will differ depending on time
 of year how much notice we have. Saving our future son's life is worth this and more!


Reece's Rainbow

 $25 application fee + $250 "love offering" to set up our donation account- paid!


Agency Fees

$250 Application Fee-Paid!
$1,000  Consultation Fee.-Paid!

$7,000 Agency/Post Placement Fee.

$15,500 Foreign Program Fee

Total Agency Fees $23,500

Other Fees For International Adoption Process

$750 USCIS fee for filing the I-600A-permission to immigrate a child

$85 per person for biometrics fingerprinting fee.
$1200-Home study written by state licensed social worker or licensed home
study agency.-Paid!!
$150- Having tons of notorizations done. This is a guess, it may be a low one!
$500- Apostilles from your secretary of state to authenticate each document
of both registration and court dossier
$150- Order several certified copies of marriage lisence and birth certificates for both registration
 and court dossiers.

Travel  and "In Country" Expenses - Three Trips Are Required!
 $2000-Airline tickets , per person/per trip

$2000-Brock's Airline ticket home!!!!

$200-$300 Daily expenses per day per couple in Brock's region. This will include a translator,
 room/board and transportation while parent/s are abroad. We will spend approximately 5-7 nights
 each trip in Brock's region. 
$200 per person/per trip for train tickets to Brock's region.
$881- Assistance to the family by the agency in country staff including: transport to and from
 the airport and all driving in capital city on the first and second trip; all assistance and paperwork preparation for medical Clinic and the US Embassy.
$360- Hotel in Brock's Capital City for 3 nights-  during second trip for paperwork and parent
 physicals.

$800 for each parent for physicals done in country.
$100-$125- Child’s immigrant medical exam.

$380-US Embassy (cost for one child’s immigration visa)
*NOTE- There are several other bits that I left out, not to mention that we also have the cost of
 essentially bringing a new baby into our home! But we can't wait!

    1. Lacy, I just felt like if I was going to be asking for donations, I want people to know exactly why and and exactly where it is all going! I have a our first fundraiser going to be put up soon, so I will keep you posted!
